Helpful Information

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office E9-1-1 Dispatch Center has available a free service that lets citizens create a Safety Profile for their household that includes any information they want 9-1-1 to have in the event of an emergency.

You can create your “safety profile” now by going to www.smart911.com.

This system could be helpful by providing information to the dispatcher, such as directions to your home.

We can also receive text messages in the event you are unable to speak. You can include information about medical issues or emergency contacts.

Miller County has implemented the CodeRED® Emergency/Weather Warning Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service. This system allows us to telephone all or affected areas of the County in case of an emergency or severe weather situation. The CodeRED® Emergency/Weather Warning Notification System delivers customized prerecorded messages directly to homes and businesses, to a person or to an answering machine. In order to be notified via the CodeRED® Emergency/Weather Warning Notification System, your phone number must be included in the telephone database for this system. The database can include business, unlisted, and cell numbers, as well. To assure your phone numbers are included, sign up by clicking the above link. Note: Those of you who have previously signed up for CodeRED® Emergency Notification, you must re-enroll in order to add the CodeRED® Weather Warning option. Click Here to Be Included!
