Remember
Class pictures will be made on Thursday, March 18th.
Students must return the envelope with payment the day pictures are
made.
Hat Day for the elementary is Friday, March 19th.
Bring $1 to purchase a ticket to permit wearing a hat for an
elementary fundraiser.
The High School Student Council will be recycling
plastic the month of March. Please send water bottles and
plastic jugs.
The 3rd grade Jump a Thon will be held on Friday,
March 19th from 12:30-3:00. Students will begin asking for
sponsors to benefit the American Heart Association.
The Word of the Month for March is Self Control.
Spring Break will be March 22-26.
Benchmark Testing will be April 12-16. We will
spend the remaining weeks preparing and working on released test
items from previous years for practice.

Students are excited
about the computer program "Kid's
College." Students play in computer lab and can also play
at home online. The sports games are great learning fun and
they compete against classmates. Use the link above or at the
bottom of the page. Students will need the login which they
have written down and is also on our newsletter. Their
password is the same as their AR password.

Homework
Monday-
Spelling- Study the
words you missed on the pretest. Start writing the words each
night for the assignment due on Friday (words 5 times each). Words for this
week are from the story The Bat Boy and His
Violin.
Math- Side B
Tuesday- Math- Side B
Wednesday- Side B
Reading- Test tomorrow. Study the 6
vocabulary words from your Reading folder and review your story
for the comprehension test. Six questions are over the
voc. words and 4 questions are from the story.
Math- Side B
Thursday-
Spelling- Write spelling words 5 times each. (I
suggest to the students to start on this early in the week by
writing each word 1 or 2 times nightly. This is a more
effective strategy for learning the words. Study for the
test tomorrow.
